How to improve destructive_mode #10

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
In regular mode, the script copies/expands the files then moves them. Moving
the files takes an instant if you're not using a different hard drive.

In destructive mode, no copying should be involved.
Also in destructive mode, I need to stop / remove torrents in Transmission

Edit
Destructive mode actually works the way it should and moves torrent's content
instead of copying it.
Nothing to fix here

But should it not move the files to "tv_shows_post_path" and
"movies_post_path".
It doesn't do that at the moment. Only moves the files to the extraction
folder.

Please try to send me more details on this issue. I can't reproduce it myself
and I cannot see anything in the code that would prevent the post routines from
working while in destructive mode

I am not able to recreate the issue anymore.
Please close this thread.

I might suspect that it was because the file was already unpacked, and
therefore appeared is it did not move from the extraction folder.
