Movies Torrents Extract, Rename, Create Folder but Do Not Move

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Complete a torrent containing RARed video files in transmission (unbuntu)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected
1. Create temp folder
2. Unrar into the temp folder
3. Rename file
4. Create Folder in Destination
5. Move file to destination folder

1-4 seems to work correctly, then at step 5. the file does not move and the 
temp directory is deleted. Leaving an empty folder in the destination. Have 
reproduced with single file and multiple file torrents containing avi and mkv 
files.

With non-movie RARs this seems to be successful and the data is moved.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
v.20 
tranmission
unbuntu
Latest releases (new build)

Please provide any additional information below.
Extracting manually using the gui is successful.

Hi

Please make sure that unrar-free and unrar are installed on your ubuntu.
Please send copy paste the logs when running torrentexpander manually and try 
different torrents.

This reminds me of this issue :

I see 4 possibilities :
- archive is damaged
- unrar does not recognize the archive
- archive path is not recognized by unrar or torrentexpander
- a permissions issue

I currently don't have time to work on torrentexpander. I'll need as much 
information as possible in order to go straight to the point

Just run torrentexpander manually : /path/to/torrentexpander.sh 
/path/to/your/torrent
Then copy paste the output there

Manually, on a single file torrent, selecting the destination folder using
the gui I ended up with the video file in the Extracted location

ls /home/dan/Downloads/Extracted/
Ironsky-Done.avi

I have been testing by refreshing the view of the torrentexpander temp
folder, and I can see the files being successfully unrar'd, then the name
changes, but they are not moved to the destination folder. Then the temp
folder is deleted along with the video files.

Definitely weird

What about your : ls /home/dan/Downloads/Extracted/
It seems that the file is there, then it disappears, is that it ?
What about the /home/dan/Movies/ directory ? Did you expect the file to be 
copied there ?

What I understand is that you selected the rar archive instead of the torrent 
itself in the GUI 
(/home/dan/Downloads/Torrents/Iron.Sky.LIMITED.DVDRip.XviD-DoNE/i
ronsky-done.rar instead of 
/home/dan/Downloads/Torrents/Iron.Sky.LIMITED.DVDRip.XviD-DoNE), so 
torrentexpander cannot recognize the movie pattern.

That's the reason why the file in unrared in /home/dan/Downloads/Extracted/ but 
isn't copied to /home/dan/Movies/

I then deleted some files from the torrent file and forced tranmission to
verify and download/complete again to start the automated process.

I could see the extraction taking place in /Downloads/Extracted, but then
at the end of the extraction nothing is moved and the temp folder with the
video is deleted.

I'm pretty sure this is just a permissions issue.
If I'm not mistaken, Transmission is run by a different user. Just make sure 
this user has write access to all folders used by torrentexpander.

Yes transmission does run as a different user, I will try changing the user
it runs as and let you know if that resolves the issue.

Yes, you were absolutely right. It was a permissions issue, I am not
exactly sure which permissions but changing transmission-daemon to run as
the user account where the files are stored (home/*user*) fixed the issue.

By default the transmission daemon runs as debian-transmission

For reference, this is changed in the following location.

sudo nano /etc/init.d/transmission-daemon
