Buildroot enviroment update (schedule)

I've already ran into some issues with builtroot which have been patched upstream but not yet included in the current version (openssh for instance, but fixed by not using it, it was just a test). While not yet released it would be good to consider if an update is wanted when available.

• Is there interest in updating the builtroot env as long as the kernel is compatible?
• Is there any need to do so? (maybe it's just my X11 testing setup messing about)
• Do we even want to bother as long as it works?

Summary from the discussions is that this mod will stay on the Buildroot 2023.02 LTS version for the time being.

After doing the build system rework it will be easier to update to a newer buildroot release, since we don't fork the main buildroot repo. Then we can test how easy an upgrade would be and if there any advantages from it.

Btw. the 2024.02 LTS version just came out and the 2023.02 LTS version has a new point release that we can update to https://buildroot.org/news.html
