i am using Kodi web interface Chorus2 to stream videos to my Andriod 13 smartphone.
but not all video streams play audio. the reason must be the audio format that the stream outputs.
e.g. for a video with DTS-MA 5.1 or AC3 2.1 or DCA 5.1 audio, the streamed audio don't play.
a video with AAC 2.1 or AAC 5.1 audio, the streamed audio does play.
in the Kodi settings for Audio, there is:
Audio Passthrough is disabled
Audio channel setting is set to 2.0
Up-Down-Mixing (to the 2.0 channels) is enabled.
it looks like the web Interface streaming does not up-/down-mixing audio according to the audio settings in Kodi.
Describe the bug
Here is a clear and concise description of what the problem is:
when using the web interface to stream videos with DTS-MA 5.1 audio to my smartphone, the video plays without audio.
