Supports streams opened by FFmpeg's libavformat or Kodi's cURL such as plain TS, HLS and DASH (non-DRM) as well as many others. There is support for Archive/Catchup services where there is a replay window and can timeshift across that span. Also provides timeshift for live streams where rewind/pause and fast-forward would not have been available.

inputstream.ffmpegdirect 22.0.0 not in Kodi piers addon repo (windows x86) #305

Per github ver 22.0.0 was released 5 days ago but the latest ver on Kodi repo addon piers mirrors is 21.3.5. pvr.nextpvr for Piers is ver 22.0.0 with a dependency on inputstream.ffmpegdirect 22.0.0 so won't install.

There is an issue with ffmpegdirect for Android, but windows should be fine.
