Ask Google to crawl URLs to speed up google find our site: xcat2.github.io Refer to doc: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/submit-url To submit a URL to the Google index, either submit a sitemap or use the Fetch as Google tool.

The easiest way is to use the ping tool to submit a sitemap:

  1. create a sitemap.xml
  2. Use the ping tool. Send a GET request in your browser or the command line to this address, specifying the full URL of the sitemap. Be sure that the sitemap file is accessible: http://www.google.com/ping?sitemap= Example: http://www.google.com/ping?sitemap=https://xcat2.github.com/sitemap.xml

We had new url https://xcat2.github.io, if we wait for google spider to discover and crawl it, it may take several days. We can active tell google to speed up crawl our new urls. After xcat.org uses new home page, we can also use the same method to let google to speed up re-crawl new home page.
