Hi,
Indeed, IIRC, it was removed from XenCenter for reasons IDK. As an alternative right now to xe
CLI, note that it's configurable from Xen Orchestra web UI, named "Auto power On" in the Advanced VM field:
I don't know the difficulty level to re-introduce this into XCP-ng Center, @cocoon or @borzel should be able to take a look (they are the main contributors, @borzel is the also the "packager" for XCP-ng Center)
@olivierlambert Thanks for your explanation! An yes, I know XOA - a very great tool. Unfortunately XOA was also down this time (after the complete host was down), so I had to fix it via console before that post... ;-)
Just let pictures speak:
Result:
WOW, great! Thanks a lot!
Hello,
if I am not wrong, long time ago, in v. 5.6 of Citrix Xen Server / Xen Center there was na option to configure individual autostart option for each vm (e.g. after reboot of Xen Server). I switched from Citrix Xen 7.0 to XCP-ng 7.6.1 hoping that I would find this option in XCP Center again, but it seems that I still have to configure autostart via console access like explained here:
https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX133910
It would love to see this option back in XCP Center!
Thanks & regards
