It's https://github.com/xcpretty/xcode-install/issues/340 all over again. Using 2.6.1 on Mojave (10.14.6).

@renaud-vmg Are you specifically seeing Warning: Transient problem: FTP error Will retry in 1 seconds. 3 retries left.? Or are you seeing errors with codesign assessments post-extraction?

Both, actually. I've had to download the XIP manually and extract it before I could use xcode-install to switch to it.
