We currently use a local SMOS NetCDF Kerchunk index covering 2020 to 2023-05.

On a dedicated Creodias VM:

Generate indexes for the years 2010 to 2019
Update 2023-05+.

We now use SmosDirectCatalog by default, SmosIndexCatalog may be deprecated in the future. Reopen this issue, if we decide something different later.
