Hi! It's me again. Similar situation this time as well but I'm just trying to understand a few things.
MegaSync is another one of the programs that offer both an ubuntu and a debian deb package.
Going through all the all the steps using ubuntu deb package results in an error message where it looks for a library file named libssl.so.3. I have found a library file named libssl3.so in my instance of void installation.
Using the debian deb package works flawlessly. Program runs as usual.
What I want to know is, are those the same files with different names and folks over at ubuntu naming their libraries differently?
If not, is it possible to address it through this script? Or if it's an issue out of the scope of this project
Thanks to your amazing script, I have fully ported my entire setup over to void and abandoned the dumpster fire that is ubuntu after a decade.
