I have a completely freshly installed setup: ievms wiped, fresh install of virtualbox, freshly installed VMs (IEs 8-11 all sharing Win7)
Only unique change is that I set INSTALL_PATH = $XDG_DATA_HOME/ievms during ievms install (installed via ievms shell script, not iectrl)
After everything was installed, I attempted to shrink IE8 but got ERROR: no matching virtual machines found. (Same error when attempting to shrink any other IE, too)
$ iectrl list
Available virtual machines:
IE8 - Win7
IE9 - Win7
IE10 - Win7
IE11 - Win7
$ iectrl shrink "IE8 - Win7"
ERROR: no matching virtual machines found
