You can rename any of the three letter characteristics on an actor sheet to accommodate the different attributes you list. Click on the pencil note icon to get into edit mode. You can also show a different mix of attributes using the "Select Attributes to Display" option under advanced settings. You can have a max of 9 attributes. Please note this is actor specific. You'll need to create a template actor first and copy it. This behavior is to accommodate different species. Thanks for the input. I'm going to close this one. Please ask on the Discord if you are having trouble using this feature.
There are a list of very useful additional characteristics in the Mongoose Traveller 2e Companion that would be wonderful to have the option of including in the character sheet
These are the optional characteristics: Wealth (WLT), LUCK (LCK), MORALE (MRL), SANITY (STY) and CHARM (CHA)
I am planning on using the Traits section under the Info tab to keep track of these scores and we'll manually add or subtract the appropriate scores manually when tying these to skills (though quite often these are used as just straight up Characteristic rolls and are rarely paired with skill rolls).
Would it make more sense to add these as skills and just keeping the paired attributes as blank for rolls on these?
Here are the short descriptions from the Traveller Companion (pgs 3-7)
WEALTH (WLT): If the referee does not want to track every Credit and cost of item, they can use the abstract Wealth (WLT) characteristic.
LUCK (LCK): Luck represents a Traveller’s general good and bad fortunes, and governs situations that are essentially beyond a Traveller’s control. It is useful in highly cinematic games, allowing Travellers a get-out if things go wrong, and can be used to give ‘plucky but inexperienced young hero’ type Travellers an advantage. This is not always desirable – the majority of Traveller games are set in a cold, uncaring universe ruled by the laws of science rather than whimsy – but referees running some types of game will find LCK useful.
(this value tends to be somewhat fluid, with LUCK being spent and recouped as play goes on, so having it as an option in the Characteristic can be damaged would be very useful)
MORALE (MRL): The Morale (MRL) characteristic represents a mix of courage, motivation, determination and sense of. It functions in a similar manner to END, though in a psychological manner rather than physical. MRL is useful in games with a lot of combat, but can also be applied to many other situations. It provides a way to adjudicate situations where the Traveller insists they will do the most effective thing regardless of tedium, discomfort and distractions… or hostile gunfire.
(this value also tends to be somewhat fluid, with MORALE being lost and recouped as play goes on, so having it as an option in the Characteristic that can be damaged would be very useful)
SANITY (STY): Sanity is a useful characteristic to have in games with a supernatural element or those that involve a lot of cybernetics. Travellers experiencing a strange electronic world might be driven mad by it, temporarily or permanently. Sanity could also be used to model the effects of post-traumatic stress disorder on Travellers who had unpleasant experiences in service or during an adventure.
(this value also tends to be somewhat fluid, with SANITY being lost and recouped as play goes on, so having it as an option in the Characteristic that can be damaged would be very useful).
CHARM (CHA): In some cases, SOC is less important than a Traveller’s innate ability to charm and influence people. In this case, SOC can be replaced by a Charm (CHA) characteristic that applies almost anywhere the Traveller goes. At the referee’s option, SOC can be retained as well, indicating status in the Traveller’s home society.
