I usually have couple of chats in a different language (Spanish in my case) and I am not very proficient in them. For this reason I use a translation extension to translate the web based whatsapp in my browser.
As I mainly use this application, I have to open a a duplicate whatsapp in browser just translating the chats. Since this is webkit based, would it be possible to use extensions?

None, although for translation something like this extension can be used link along with any other depending on people's use cases.
