I don't own an S4 and don't know anything about Know but I presume there are
options to enable application blocked by it.

hi
sadly we can only hope that the developer will add some "s4 only" needed
permission to let this awesome app run on our phone. i'll try to read more
around but "what'sapp messanger" had the same issue when last samsung s4
firmware was released.
To explain:
old S4 firmware had the SELinux set on permissive
new S4 firmware has the SELinux set on enforcing
hope this helps the developer to find out how to solve this issue :)
thanks for your great work!

i think one of this permissions shoud do the trick:
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.CAMERA"/>
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.CHANGE_CONFIGURATION"/>
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.WRITE_SETTINGS"/>
i can try to run this on my s4 if you let me download the apk with permissions
:)

I can add those permissions but don't think that would change.
I just found this: https://www.samsungknox.com/overview/app-developers
Not sure if I should apply for this.

I contacted Amtel and Airwatch for a possible solution and they say its
software is capable of fix the knox apps container permissions. I'm trying to
enter the trial of their software.

Answer from samsung's technical service:
go to settings and uncheck "install apps from unknown origins" and reinstall
the app

Answer from SamsungKnox:
I am unsure what updates are affecting your apps but to install apps into the KNOX container, it must be wrapped and then pushed to your device through a mobile device management solution or through Samsung Apps. I hope this helps.

Pushed the app through MDM (MaaS360 and 3CX) and no luck

Updated the s4 to android 4.3, the app recognize the camera, show the controls
but after a seconds force close. Relaunching the app results in black screen.
Don't know why this occurs, but now dslr controller works without problems

Can you try and uninstall the OpenCV Manager that you have and install this one:

Hi, 4.3 fixed the root of the problem.
the older version of opencv fixed another problem sorted after the knox issue.
Thanks for all really nice work! :)
