During the rewrite for CUDA a few issues where discovered that should be improved in the support library. This issue tracks them.

[x] use constexpr for constants
[ ] consider removing operator [] from vecs and use at() free function instead, at least in shared code
[ ] consider using frame_fromz instead of basis_fromz whener possible
[x] consider implementing frame functions without relying on matrices
[x] provide transform_XXX_inverse, probably renamed better
[x] potentially use constexpr for simple functions, but not required
[x] check isfinite
[x] check numerical_limits
[ ] provide a short vector implementation for static vectors
[ ] move some code to std::span
[x] remove constructors in rng_state
