Trace Improvements #1375

This issue tracks improvements to trace

[ ] port to Metal path tracer
[ ] consider making more functions public
[ ] eyelight should only do diffuse
[ ] camlight should do diffuse + specular
[ ] consider thick primitives (points as spheres, lines as capsule)
