I see two different/excluding paths that this design could take:
A direct copy of the Monopoly board with only the names of assets/plots changed and other game-play features kept as they are (moving around the board, acquiring assets/skills/equipment).
A much more ambitious version of the game where
a) the players are divided into "factions", some of who try to take over everything, some try to this from happening
b) other game mechanics are added (hacking, movement around the board, messaging between players in factions etc.)
