Probably doing something wrong, but I can't get this to change anything. Download and extract the ZIP file to the game directory and nothing changes. File names have changed from what you indicate in the directions, so maybe that has something to do with it. Would love for this to work. I've seen videos of people playing that seem to have this working (mush faster animations, trimmed up screen space, etc.) so I don't know where I've gone wrong.

Let's see if we can figure it out! First open the Twilight Struggle install directory by right clicking on the Twilight Struggle entry in Steam and clicking on "Properties...", next click on "Installed Files", then "Browse...". This will open the Twilight Struggle directory. You should see the program here. It will have a "TS" icon and be called "TwilightSrtuggle" or "TwilightSrtuggle.exe". You want to extract the ZIP file here. You should now see in addition the "TwilightStuggle" program file: a folder called "TSEspionage" and two files called "doorstop_config.ini" and ".doorstop_version". After that, you should be able to launch the game through Steam like normal.

Can you confirm that you have the "TSEspionage" folder in the same place as the "TwilightSrtuggle"/"TwilightSrtuggle.exe" file?

I appreciate your response! I'll have to try things again later when I am back home. I will provide some pictures too. To give some more info that I recall, I did try extracting the ZIP to the install directory, but it doesn't produce simply a TSEspionage folder, it creates a TSEspionage-main folder. Contained within is the TSEspionage folder along with a couple other folders and loose files. I've tried leaving the TSEspionage-main in the install directory which produced seemingly no change. I tried putting all the folders and files that are within TSEspionage into the game directory, same result. I tried pulling in just the TSEspionage folder and same thing again. Now, perhaps the issue is that I don't actually know what a successfully installed mod should look like here. Since I was doing this primarily for the increased animation speed, I was really only checking to see if that setting had an additional option in the dropdown, which I never saw in the few attempts I did. I never went into a game because there is no way to change the settings once there. Maybe this is my problem. Let me know what a good mod install should look like and I can better identify if we are making progress. I'll get back to you later with some more tries and what I'm doing each time there. Thanks for reaching out to me.

Got some more info for you.

ZIP file as it is when downloaded and un-extracted: [image: image.png]

Install directory with extracted file: [image: image.png]

Contents of TSEspionage-main in install directory: [image: image.png]

Settings after launching game with TSEspionage folder in place: [image: image.png]

The Doorstop folder contains the files you mention, but it does not seem to be in the location you are expecting: [image: image.png]

Let me know what else I can provide to help diagnose this.
