Thank you so much for this! I had just found JSNES and gotten similarly appalled at its size and complexity, for seemingly no gain at all. And moreover... I can't even get it to run! All I wanted was an emulator that I can run locally, written in a way that makes sense so that I can have something to learn from, and yours fills that need perfectly.
