have you tried the D3D12 version?

edit 1: xd you're on windows 7.

edit 2: Shouldn't you rename the title to demo instead of beta?

Yes I Have Tried the D3D12, but that Crashes before even been able to Load a Game

And I'm on 8.1, just using Aero8 which is a modified Version with a lot of Aero

edit 1: No It's the a Beta from 2012, got it from [REDACTED]

D3D12 version of Xenia will only work on Windows 10.

Correct, it's that one

Edit: But if Working Correctly 70MB could be the Complete Game, which is not Unreasonable because the PC Version (Launcher + 1.14.3) is Around 280MB

Update: The game also crashes with D3D12 but I don't get a Xenia.exe has stopped working error.

I've got it to work you have to just press leaderboards, achievements, then press play and it should run: xbox 360 minecraft beta

Yes and No, Yes because they Eventually Turned into a Fully Developed Game. And No Because this is a leaked Beta, this beta version was never avalible to the Public

@brandonlee04 thanks for figuring out how to play it. Also it Looks Similar to The Final Game, eventhough this is a "early" beta. Very Interesting

Edit: I added Quotation marks to "early" as it is the Earliest Beta Avalible

Seems like its fully working now, i had no issues on gameplay Tested on old hardware (i7 3770, GTX 680, 12GB Ram, 1tb WD Blue)

There are 4 known existing builds of this beta, and 3 that are public, according to the Minecraft Wiki

The bottom left of the "controls" menu has the version build number of the beta you have.

I have the same build as @Sterophonick

I know this because the only known copy of this version (according to the wiki) is edited with those different textures you see in their screenshots. This is build 1.66.0033.0. It works fine for me.

The textures appearing as their normal counterparts at a distance or at sharp angles (seen in the 2nd screenshot, on the castle walls) is due to the game using 2 sets of lower resolution textures as an optimization feature. Only the default texture set you see up close was edited in this version. In this version, a stone bricks texture replaces the cobblestone texture. Why am I mentioning this? I theorize that some may take it as a graphical error.

Aint gonna be on there. Seems the only way to have ever obtained this version is through illegitimate means, whether you got it today or when it was leaked.

@Trainboat555 Not sure if it's the Beta release you guys talking about, but here's the 0.66.0062.0 build uploaded onto the Internet Archive only for archival purposes: https://archive.org/details/minecraft-xbox-360-edition-base-game You can find other beta builds there as well.

there's been an issue content from game disc. this is likely caused bad or unimplemented file IO calls minecraft disc error
