Re-run it with --ignore_undefined_externs=false and see if it crashes.
I have re-run it with --ignore_undefined_externs=false and it crashes right after the opening cinematic when it is going to go to the menu.
Hey man, YOU CAN "START" THE GAME, when you start the GH Metallica, let the game in "Press any button to Rock" screen, don't press nothing, wait a moment, the game will Load.
I recorded with Fraps, the only game menu works, I used a Guitar Controller (Xinput) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYWIE2qObI4
@brenoyure looks to be as the game crashes at the same point as #182 and #176 AKA when the game tries to load it shows a yellow spinning thing in the bottom right corner, since both #182 and #176 goes into "party mode" or whatever that was called where the game is started instantly before even going to menus.
In other words same symptome as the other Guitar Hero games except for GH3 and Aerosmith.

Guitar Hero Metallica has improved quite a bit. Last time I checked, it had some crazy polygon corruptions (rock stars collapsing into singularities and such). This has improved quite a bit- only a few physics missteps now. The performance is pretty good, running at 60fps on average, aside from some hitching. Oftentimes post effects hide gameplay. Menu and ingame audio is totally whack. Some textures are questionable. God help the Vulkan backend.
Overall, pretty damn metal- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R789Vm0RI-c

Bump, but figured this may help. slowing the emulator down to x0.50 fixed the garbage audio. Speeding it up again keeps it working for a split second, and then it goes garbage and starts dragging again.

Same state. Sound is still broken.
Setting the time scalar in the config file to 0.99999 instead of 1.00000 fixes the audio indefinitely.
I can't get the game to work though without a guitar connected (even with an emulator), it looks like it always detects a microphone ? I don't know what causes this.
Finally set my hands on a controller. This doesn't help. Video is fine, audio has glimpse of correctness but is trash overall.
