Did a speed challenge and an overtake challenge. No issues. Xenia closes if vsync is on. GPU lost when 2x resolution is on.

Engine sounds get lost when going fast

When playing PGR 3, sound effects like wind noise and tire noise play, but engine sounds and music do not. Engine sounds play only at the beginning of the race, and are seemingly "stuck" at the starting line (they fade out as you get further away). By lap 2 they are no longer at the starting line.

i've noticed that when test driving a custom route, the sound seems to work with the test car.

I agree with what LeRutY says, the car does lose it's sound when it goes too fast

Is there a way to fix the silent apu? I can't hear any music, especially the music on the main menu. I tried xaudio2, sdl, but none of them worked.
