Issues:

Start up logos show perfectly fine. Audio works flawlessly within the start up sequence. Gets stuck in an infinite loading loop at the title screen but there is no crash.

Issues:

I've tried running this and got pretty random results

• Sometimes it gets to the infinite loading screen
• Sometimes the guest crashes at random before getting to the loading screen
• Sometimes the host crashes before anything

Not sure why it is so random, I tried to get logs of the different outcomes

• You must set protect_zero=false and scribble_heap=true! • Everything is very dark.

Tested on Xenia Canary 190cef9 on Steam Deck

Game sometimes crashes on launch with a green error message, didn't manage to screenshot it, but I'll edit this post later with crash message once I charge my deck. Other times it loads just fine with readback.

Game plays fine, played all beginner courses to gold medal finishes, bloom is very excessive, and particle effects don't seem to render (fire, explosions, etc) Did not need requires_protect_zero or requires_scribble_heap

Even with that exact same build I can't get it to boot on my pc. Only works on Master for me after the regression logged in the other git project tracker. AMD 5900, Nvidia 3070, Win 10.

it crashes a lot on startup, either a guest crash, a failed assertion, or the game just hanging on a black screen or the xbox live arcade logo, but if you keep restarting it it does launch, unfortunately i don't know enough about xenia to know why this is or why its so inconsistent

No amount of launches on my pc will get a canary build to load (pc too fast). I've tried about 80 times over the past year. It's because of this regression - https://github.com/xenia-canary/xenia-canary/issues/67 All the details are in there. Used to launch fine(ish) on Canary.

I have tried this and Trials Evolution on Steamdeck and I get this message for both and do not how how to correct it.

The Guest has crashed. Xenia has laused itself. Crash Dump. Thread ID (Host: 0x00000224/ Guest: 0x00000012. Thread Handle: 0xF8000150

On Steam Deck, the game plays quite well until the Extreme maps where lag is noticeable. Some bloom/lighting is excessive, but not unplayable.

Major issues are it probably loads past the intro screen only 20% of the time. Runs the beginner-hard tracks almost perfectly, when it loads.

Couldn't get DLC working but probably user error.
