Tested on (https://github.com/benvanik/xenia/commit/3d1d4dea47dd95117befe436ed292ad79ca5ee13)

Issues:

The game crashes instantly after starting from main menu. It's only possible to watch...no, to listen videos - they're all in graphic artifacts.

possibly video-garbage?

TotalCaesar659 commented 8 years ago

Maybe yes, I thought that these words should be more referred to gameplay, not videos. But of course, it's up to you to decide)

Razzile commented 8 years ago

are the screens of gameplay?

TotalCaesar659 commented 8 years ago

Sorry, but no. The game freezes after pressing "Launch Quake 2" and doesn't react to pressing keys. I've waited 10 minutes, but there was no result.

Tried to launch Quake 2 from the menu. Xenia host-crashes. :bird:quake2-xenon.exe now boots and has functional menus on Canary, but hangs before going ingame.

No changes since last report. Like mentioned above, game runs on Canary. It dies before gameplay, but scripted in-engine demo works. According to DF analysis it's the first X360 game with native 1080p support. Checked in PIX, and it seems to be the case... almost. It's rendering at 1920x1088 (?), and the output is a bit squished vertically. Technically more pixels than 1080p. Not sure if that's how the game is supposed to run, or if it's Xenia's doing, or if it's scripted demo quirk.
