Maybe you got a wrong version of xenia or a pirated copy of Forza?
Xenia is the lastest. It might be the 2nd possibility, although I doubt it. I'll buy a second hand Forza Disc, and I am going to dump it, now I'm curious. I'll reply if I have any info. Thx for the answer.
Thanks for your answer. Where can I find these fixes? I googled it, but no result to download. I haven't done any compiling before, but I have seen a video, it's not a big deal to compile master from github. The problem for me will be adding the fix, so if you have any instruction it would be great. Thanks.

The change needed is in pull request xenia-project/xenia#1461
For instructions to build follow: https://github.com/xenia-project/xenia/blob/master/docs/building.md
To pull the changes: git pull origin pull/1461/head
in the xenia directory after cloning.
In new builds the game stops in the Menu.

@Hadocem Please provide a log.
Sorry for the delay.
# If I'm not mistaken, this was the last build that the game was working on. It is not possible to send the Log, it is over 10MB.
Sistema:
CPU: Intel Core i5 8400 2.8GHz (4.0GHz Turbo) 6-Core 6-Thread RAM: DDR4 Crucial Ballistix Sport Lt, 16GB 3200MHz Placa de Video: GTX 1050Ti Placa mãe: Asus Z390-p Fonte: Gamemax GM600 600W Water Cooler: Mymax Algor, LED Red 120mm.
With the build: 9f789e0, the game returned to work, but I had to delete my save, as the game stopped in the menu. Apparently the game was playable, I played for hours and there was no random crash.
Thanks Hadocem! Have you experienced the random glitches? Is it still issue?
I can tell it's working with this version: 2020-12-03-Xenia d2cf0167 Newer versions end 2021 will crash the game.
On build 82c1fb87a the game crashes shortly after the opening cutscenes. The amount of time before it crashes seems to vary, but generally it's anywhere from 10 seconds to 2 minutes after getting in game. xenia.log System: AMD Ryzen 5 2600x MSI GTX 1080 32GB Micron DDR4 @2400MHZ Gigabyte Aorus B450 Pro WiFi Windows 10 Pro 21H2
master@9fa41c27b - July 26 2022 Crashed the first time after the cutscenes, and now, the second time, it played for like 30 seconds with low fps and artifacts, then crashed. i7-10700F GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 3080 32GB G.Skill DDR4 @ 3666 MHz GIGABYTE B560M AORUS PRO AX Windows 10 Pro 21H2 xenia.log
UPDATE: I tried to play again and the game was working in like 20-30 FPS but no artifacts and seemed fine. 1 minute later it also crashed. (log is 136mb, can't upload)

This issue has already been fixed by using "mount_cache = true"

You just have to use Xenia Canary with the mount_cache = true in the xenia-canary.config.toml
Thanks guys! Confirmed, It is working absolutely fine with canary. I have had micro lags on HDD, but It's gone on SSD.

I believe it's the shader cache stutter. Also fine on my pc and deck (playable)
All you need to do to play the game in full HD and 55 fps is...
Config file
mount_cache: true
Under the vsync number from 16 down to 10
This will work if you have a RTX 2050 and up
In case anyone was wondering if Ryzen 5000 series mobile APUs would run this, they unfortunately do not (Except if I have missed something). Game randomly crashes like that (or sometimes even seemingly rebooting the entire video driver). I have yet to notice any specific in game triggers for the crash, it can last for anywhere from mere seconds to, in my experience, up to around 40 minutes.
With the current performance of the emulator (March 26th 2024), my Ryzen 7 5800u is unable to keep the game running at 30 fps, usually ranging from 20 to 25 in races and 22 to sometimes 30 in free roam while the game manages to run. (Running at the normal 15 watt TDP, that is)
May 25 2024 master build I still have the crash right on the first drive up that hill, I never made it all the way up without the game crashing. mount_cache does nothing to fix it.
CPU: Ryzen 5900X GPU : Nvidia 3090, driver 555.99 but older drivers always had this to.
All versions I tried in the past have the same thing, previously with a Ryzen 1700X.

PLEASE USE THE STEPS PREVIOUSLY MENTIONED ABOVE FOR PLAYABLE GAMEPLAY
FORZA HORIZON 2 IS PLAYABLE FROM START TO FINISH
It doesn't fix it thats the problem, vsync_interval is no longer listed by default that may have been taken out. mount_cache doesn't fix the crashing. Both on V9 and V12 off the game.
Use xenia canary NOT the master build
You are right, the master build is much newer than the canary anyone was using in the thread but the fix isn't in it for some reason. Latest canary doesn't start at all on my systeem so downloaded an older one which ended up being April 6 2024, didn't bother with the tweaks since I was curious how it would run out of the box. No issues, runs great on my 3090.
Update: froze later on on the loading screen, so mount_cache is still needed.

Sowa_95 explained for me in the Discord that now "vsync_interval" is "framerate_limit", and to get 60 FPS you set it's value from 60 to 120 (Basically desired framerate * 2 = number you put in the config).
So now to get smooth gameplay is:
mount_cache = true
framerate_limit = 120
