Marketplace

Tested on (https://github.com/benvanik/xenia/commit/2d55b12cc9a744afd393d0d9e8990155e540f363)

Issues:

GL4: Seems to be playable and completed the first level Graphics mostly good, level selector has some issues with graphics. Except for on the title screen, music is choppy, but sound effects are fine.

Vulkan (Need to test newer builds): Graphics are very broken. Game freezes a lot for a lengthy time before resuming for a bit. Loading the save or starting a new game is very lengthy to get in game compared to GL4.

Tested the latest build (a7e4bc8f49219606022a256eb056859d172d8773) Title screen no longer corrupted on vulkan but the title screen background is blue. When entering the mission select room, while the graphics are much better now, there are some major glitches such as incorrect color. Game still hangs for a few minutes before resuming. Character models are often broken with missing limbs and faces. Character walking animation is hilariously broken as well and looks like hopping instead of walking. vulkangraphics3

Tested on (https://github.com/benvanik/xenia/commit/9e79babde0cbe8042b6689f2998eaf8bd3cae113)

Issues:

Now graphics are very close to the original. There are still some problems: only default face+hand positions render correctly on characters (in all other cases faces and hands float far behind models), shiny objects like artifacts have wrong rendering and music is a big, slowed down mess (sound effects during gameplay play fine though). I was able to finish the first stage.

I suggest adding audio-garbage tag.

Tested on last master (https://github.com/benvanik/xenia/commit/a753dbed15c79e47e20417ceeef3795d324fa9de) + Memory Leak fix (https://github.com/benvanik/xenia/issues/779) Game works is fine on Vulkan, but sound works partially. Graphics - perfect Animation - perfect Performance - perfect Save-States - OK Sound - partially

Stop linking to binary builds. It's fine if you want to do so elsewhere, but not within issues/wiki on official Xenia repositories.

Sorry

gibbed commented 6 years ago

No need to apologize, not that big of a deal.

Can confirm that most of the game works flawlessly. The sound didn't work completely though. The game also stuttered somewhat, but that could very well be due to my hardware. Tested on https://github.com/xenia-project/xenia/commit/ff5c5f01e0e31abee675be7e48c11c20642a40fb on 12/5/2020. xenia.zip
