gears 3 not working under canary

I'm sorry if i'm doing this incorrectly, this is my first post to github. I can run gears of war 3 with the title update AND DLCs (though i can't make any save games) on Xenia master, but for some reason if i apply the title update to xenia canary it just gets stuck on this loading screen right after the publisher intros. i can run the base game just fine on canary. I can't seem to get either of the working versions (canary w/o title updates and master w/ title updates) to make a save game, even after i set up my gamer profile through velocity. Once again, i apologize if i've done something wrong, and thank you for any feedback. i have no prior experience with coding, i am as green as grass with these subjects.
