No way to set default communication device alongside default recording device? #3

No way to set default communication device alongside default recording device? In teamspeak 3 and other programs the default communications device is the actual default recording device, can this be added so it can also be changed? Other than that, fantastic program.

Assuming this is for Version 1 of Audio Switcher? If it is, I'll re-open an issue in it's git repo.

https://github.com/xenolightning/AudioSwitcher_v1

Just to clarify: When switching the Default device, you'd also like it to switch the Communications device?

How are you switching the default recording device? Through the application window, or from the tray icon?

I quite like the idea of providing an option to switch both at the same time, and it's relatively easy to do.

If all this^ is as I assume, I'll look at adding a setting to enable dual switching.

Cheers

Afternoon, i found your original version via sourceforge: https://sourceforge.net/projects/audioswitcher/

Your clarification is correct, that's exactly what i would like this do do and thus this would be perfect for what i need your application for. I use hotkeys to switch between speakers\headset and headset mic\stand mic\stereomix.

Of course, there may be people out there that require this segregated, thank you for your response and i look forward to seeing the new revision

I'll and it to a new version and push it out under 1.5.4.0.

It should prompt for auto update if you have it enabled. Hopefully will have it done before the weekend.

Version 1.5.4.0 has been released and is available on sourceforge, and via the auto updater.

Includes "Dual switch mode", which will switch Default and Communications for Quick Switch, Tray Icon and Hotkey switching.
