Suggested part_of parent term(s)

posterior foregut (XAO:0005128)

Suggested dev_from parent term(s)

posterior foregut (XAO:0005128)

I think these may make the existing parent's somewhat redundant as posterior foregut is a more specific sub-class of alimentary system.

From discussion with Aaron he believes that the 'posterior foregut' is the more proper precursor than the current 'midgut', to quote from an email 'Pancreas is on the boundary but some studies formally assign to foregut'.. Uberon still has midgut as the precursor (https://www.ebi.ac.uk/ols/ontologies/uberon/terms?iri=http%3A%2F%2Fpurl.obolibrary.org%2Fobo%2FUBERON_0003923). Are better to follow Aaron's guidance, stick with Uberon or split the difference and keep both 'develops from' parents?
