XAO uses the number system BA1=PA3

Is it not less confusing to standardize on PA1-6/7?

I believe there are problems with the def of BA1 (PA3) below:

* It says "first pharyngeal/branchial" - to be internally consistent it should say "first branchial/3rd pharyngeal"

XAO:0000097 ! mandibular arch [develops_from: "visceral pouch 1"] XAO:0000098 ! hyoid arch [develops_from: "visceral pouch 2"] XAO:0000447 ! branchial arch 1 [develops_from: "visceral pouch 3"] [DEF: "The most anterior, or first, pharygeal/branchial arch, composed of the mandibular process, forming the posterior border of the stomodeum, and the maxillary process anterior to the stomodeum, contains the first aortic arch."] XAO:0000449 ! branchial arch 2 [develops_from: "visceral pouch 4"] [DEF: "The second pharyngeal/branchial arch; arises as a thickening of the pharygeal wall between the first and second branchial clefts; contains the second aortic arch; forms part of the hyoid bone, tongue and facial musculature."] XAO:0000451 ! branchial arch 3 [develops_from: "visceral pouch 5"] [DEF: "The third in a series of paired bars in the wall of the pharynx, within which are formed the third aortic arch and the cartilage bar of the visceral skeleton, forms and supports the gills."] XAO:0000453 ! branchial arch 4 [develops_from: "visceral pouch 6"] [DEF: "The forth in a series of paired bars in the wall of the pharynx, within which are formed the forth aortic arch and the cartilage bar of the visceral skeleton, forms and supports the gills."]

Needs further discussion involving Xenbase curators.
