Update photo cannot update to photo with slash in name #1

Steps to reproduce

  1. Name image file something with a forward slash in it, e.g. test/test.jpg
  2. Attempt to update photo of contact

Expected

As test/test.jpg is a valid filename in MacOS, image should be found and updated

Thank you for the bug report!

This is in fact possible in CampusConnect if you follow the instructions we've provided in the user guide for macOS users!

Here is an example:

  1. Create a photo with name "test/image.png" in your Downloads folder
  2. Follow the instructions as documented in the link we shared, this will copy the path /Users/idiot/Downloads/test:image.png to your clipboard
  3. Now type updatephoto <index> path//Users/idiot/Downloads/test:image.png
  4. The image will successfully update!

I understand that you will instinctively type a path with a / in it which causes this issue, but the behaviour actually works as intended if you follow our user guide.

As such, we are rejecting this bug.
