feature request: ability to open gerber files #25

hi there, I'm trying out PathCAM , it looks great, I'm a PCB designer, and to me it would be useful if it has the ability to open Gerber files

Hi, that's a good idea. Years ago I used a plugin for EagleCAD to generate gcode for milling PCB traces. I imagine there's something similar for KiCad. But integrating a gerber file loader into PathCAM shouldn't be too hard - I'll look into it.

In the meantime, there are some stand-alone gerber to gcode converters. This one uses the same clipper library as PathCAM: https://github.com/abetusk/gbr2ngc
