BSBE2-401A vs RDA5815 #3

BSBE2-401A is old component and no much in market today. I see some module STB now using RDA5815 and chip gx6605s. Can RDA5815 connect to SBC like raspberry pi?

Linux DVB framework is quite old, so doesnt support newer chipsets.

The RDA5815 is Tuner IC delivering I/Q output. you still need to demodulate it and extract the mpeg stream.

the BSBE2-401A is a complete sat receiver delivering the demodulated mpeg stream.

The gx6605 is a microprocessor used in many sat receivers. it does not have tuner or demodulator in it.
