Because A is mapped to X and B is mapped to Circle, on a Japanese vita B selects things and A goes back,

You can always change the code and recompile it yourself. EDIT: It's a matter of changing those lines: https://github.com/xerpi/viimote/blob/master/main.c#L430-L433
