Name suggestion: 'VINE'

This project reminds me of the windows-to-linux translation layer WINE. Since this is for the Vita, I'd like to suggest 'VINE' as a potential name.

I personally like this! Some nice imagery of a Vita and a Switch being connected with...well, vines growing out of the Vita or something.

Would make sense with the "(not an emulator)" part of the description, just like why Wine is called Wine :P

I don't think that's gonna be that big an issue. An example that proves this: Yuzu. There's a Yuzu that emulates Switch games, and a Yuzu that reads ebooks. Both coexist peacfully.

mentioning WINE in anything other than a referential sense would work as we arent targeting Windows

There's the company Vine as mentioned by someone else. Imho, it'll make the tool harder to find it on google, so it'll end with users having to search w/ multiple keywords like 'switch vine' or 'vita vine' because the name is horrible, which defeats the purpose.

For example, think of some bands that have names so generic you can't find them on google - without actually add the song name together - because of the amount of other existing stuff that use same name. A more unique name would be more beneficial for the tool and to people trying to find it, imho.

This isnt a new issue, try looking up hekate, the switch bootloader without mentioning the switch. its not something easy to escape from when the internet is as large as it is

V²H seems simple enough to me. It's a basic simplification of vita2hos, and it's not taken afaik.

As long as it doesn't end up as Horizon Ported Vita, we should be good.
