Hearing Aid Connection Issues #7

So upon jailbreaking with the new extra_recipe b3 spa provided by qwertyoruiop on https://yalu.qwertyoruiop.com I have not been able to connect with my hearing aid while substrate is enabled. This was not an issue with mach portal and it is caused by extra_recipe because I have tried turning off all tweaks and it still doesn't connect. And turning off substrate and installing mach portal makes connecting to my hearing aid work again.

I gave up Cydia years ago. I cannot answer your question, only that extra_recipe is incredibly clean exploit in itself -- provided it succeeds. So my best guess is that the ancillary code dealing with Cydia might be broken?... Someone with more knowledge and/or spare time on their hands might chip in with some insights.

This is probably an issue similar to the HDMI adapter issue (https://github.com/kpwn/yalu102/pull/378 ) or the crashlog fix (https://github.com/kpwn/yalu102/commit/b04295630), where the reloading of certain daemons causes issues after running the exploit.

To try and fix it, one could exclude daemons on a trial-and-error basis to see which one (or combination) fixes it...

Please test with a ssh-only version (aka the master branch). I don't support cydia -- it's there only by public request. If the problem persists with master, I'll look into it.

Just installed the master branch and it works with my hearing aid. So I guess that means it only has a connection issue after Cydia substrate loads. However only when used with this jailbreak. Mach_portal works fine with my hearing aid.

I understand. However, I don't let cydia touch my phones, so I'm unable to assist you with debugging that. I did notice that mach_portal has only limited support for cydia: it doesn't reload all daemons etc. (something that ER does -- just like yalu102). So my suggestion is to just delete the very last system() line in unjail.m and see what happens.
