This issue consists of 4 components:

A JSON file format to standardize storage of hypergraphs (need to consider temporality, directedness, etc.)
A specification file that lays out best practices for this file
Functions to go from a Hypergraph to a JSON and vice-versa
A script that will check a JSON file and see if the format is correct (nodes and edges agree, tags are correct, etc.)

For the JSON file, I have currently implemented it with top-level tags

hypergraph
nodes
hyperedges where each node and hyperedge can sub-tags which contain their associated properties.
