I'm having the same issue--it's really concerning, and I'm wondering what the root cause is. I know it's not something intrinsic to having tabs in the first place because I know HTML Tabs plugin didn't have this issue when I originally used it.
Something that I think is related to this, if I try to change the appearance settings for the Tabs plugin, before yesterday it worked fine, but now it resets--aka if I go back to the Tabs plugin settings the appearance settings revert back to how they were prior to me trying to change it.

It does this for me too.
For example, no matter how many times I disable "Limit tab title width" it is enabled again the next time I open the preferences.
Sorry for the bad experience. Markdown file will refresh because 1.1.4 added the ability to automatically update tabs (ob does not automatically re-render code blocks with modified Settings. That's the reason i add it), and the next version will make it open. Also, the problem that the Settings cannot be saved will be fixed in the next version.
I will look forward to that, and thank you for the quick reply along with the explanation.
Try 1.1.5. Setup item display error has been fixed. The autorefresh change to be optional.
Thank you so much for this update, both the fix for the lagging and the new option for decorating tab-titles.
Hi.
This plugin looks really interesting, but every time I now open preferences it takes at least 2-3 seconds when I close it again for Obsidian to stop lagging. As far as I can see it reloads every page I have open even those that I haven't added any tabs to. And whenever I close Obsidian and then reopen it, several pages have closed, and while there is a tap open, it's showing the "No File is Open" with the optiosn of creating new file, go to file, see recent files or close.
I don't know if this is a bug or not, but it's very inconvenient to say the least to have pages unexpectedly close after restarting Obsidian, and to have it lag so much after opening the preferences.
