I realize this project is mostly defunct now, but I've still been poking away at getting a Metal renderer running. 😄 The first step I thought would be useful is to add a "seam" between xi-mac and the renderer itself. To that end, I've extracted protocols and the OpenGL implementations to pave the way for a side-by-side Metal renderer.
