I have spent hours trying to install this package #302

To no avail!!!

Please can you make this easier to install? gfortran is causing so many issues, and it should not be this difficult to install an R package!!

I have tried multiple things suggested in the other issues, and nothing is working.

I am on a Mac M1...

I know this is not the proper way to fix your solution but, have you considered installing dualboot for a Linux debian distribution?

@rebeelouise Were you able to fix the issue? I am having the same issue. I cannot install the OptiLCMS package.
