Description

The mobile app now allows you to use links or QR codes to share the projects that you have downloaded. If you are out in the field and need to share a project with another user, this is the way to go. All you need to do is go into the item details for a downloaded project, and you can choose to share by a link or QR Code. image

Testing

Steps

  1. Download a project on your device.
  2. Tap the info icon of the project.
  3. In the project information page, tap more icon on the top right corner.
  4. Select Share link or View QR code to share the project via links, or ask your colleagues to scan the QR code and get the project.

Verify

  1. The project sharing info can be successfully populated.
  2. The project can be successfully downloaded on another device with the QR code or the link.

Tested the QR code scanning functionality where I scanned the QR code from a windows device to an IOS device. The project was successfully shared, and app opened just like it would had i scanned the QR code from designer.

Tested the QR Code scanning functionality where i scanned the QR code from a iOS device to an windows device and it doesn't work neither with Windows QR and iOS and Android QR. Using share link option it works without issues. My guessing could be screen reflection (iPad Air 2) or windows scanning function

I tested scanning code on Android device from iOS, QC project opened successfully on iOS device. Unfortunately, I do not have two AGOL accounts to test that aspect of downloading not just from device to device but one account to another.

I tested this function between two accounts, where the same QC app was shared, and that functionality worked as described.

Regarding the issue by Leandro: reproducible on build 1.6.46. Next, tested it with the latest build 1.6.55, the issue is resolved. We had some issues with QR code scanning and was fixed.
