[Exercise] Record a NMEA log file for playback #24

Description

When you go out into the field, you can capture a NMEA log that you can then replay when you are back in the office. This is great for doing demonstrations to colleagues whilst indoors, or for working with tech support to troubleshoot unexpected GNSS behavior.

Under Settings, go to Providers, there is a new Via File option. You can use it to select an NMEA file to play as a position source. The app will load the file and you should see the location updates on the map. You can use sites like: https://nmeagen.org/ to generate your own NMEA logs.

Test

Once you have copied you the NMEA file onto your device, just go Settings=>Providers, then navigate to the file but tapping in the text, then click ADD. Verify it works and let us know your feedback 🤝
