[Exercise] Sign into portal using external browser #35

Description

As organization administrator, you can specify the QuickCapture mobile app to sign in with external browser. Note that for ArcGIS Enterprise versions earlier than 10.9 the arcgis-quickcapture:// redirect URI must be manually added to the QuickCapture application item. image

Test

  1. Sign in to QuickCapture Designer as an organization admin.
  2. Click Administrator settings that appear on your user profile. image
  3. Toggle on "Use external browser" option.
  4. Save it.

Verify

  1. Create a new project, or select use an exsiting project of your organization in Designer.
  2. Click Share button on the project page.
  3. Use QuickCapture app on your mobile device to scan the project QR code, or click the share link. image
  4. Verify that the app directs you to the external browser to sign in to your organization
