[Exercise] Icon gallery

Description

Starting at 1.10, QuickCapture Designer includes an Esri curated gallery of icons to use on buttons. The icon gallery is a collection of categorized, ready-to-use images that can be reused for QuickCapture projects.

Test

Sign in to QuickCapture designer QA site.
Create a new Urban Search and Rescue from Esri templates.
Click on one of the buttons in the project.
On the Appearance tab.
Click Browse gallery to replace it with an existing image from the icon gallery.
Use the category tab to browse icons within a specific group.

Feedback

What do you think of this new feature? Do you imagine the icon gallery benefits the project configuration process?
How can we improve the current implementation, did you encounter any pain points while using it?

Using the BioBlitz template, I created a new QuickCapture project. Changed one of the icons to a selected icon from the Gallery. Observation:

Positive: Works great as the new icon keeps the already selected fill color.
Positive: The label changes from black to white when I change the fill color.
Negative: I want to go back to my original loaded icon but do not see a way to accomplish the change. Thanks.

@menzelc You can cancel your changes by clicking on the QuickCapture icon located in the top-left corner of designer. When existing, choose to cancel your edits.

This icon doesn't work when I choose it

It is a great functionality. I tested the Utilities icons and I was able to select all of them. It would be nice if we could move the icon gallery window and see the previous icon on the buttons.
