[Exercise] Coordinate notation format #62

Open xiao8579 opened 2 years ago

The project author can set a default coordinate notation format for each QuickCapture project. Mobile workers can click the bottom of the project to view the current location coordinates in this predefined format and share them with peers via text or email, etc. Supported formats are:

Steps

  1. Open a QuickCapture project in web designer.
  2. Click General project settings.
  3. Select one of the formats in Coordinate notation format on the General pane.
  4. Save your project. image

Mobile app test

  1. Download the project.
  2. Open the project.
  3. Tap the bottom status bar in the project.
  4. The coordinates will display on the dialog.
  5. Click the Share button to copy or share the coordinates with others. image

So far this is working great for us - even though USNG is the "standard" for search and rescue, we are finding the MGRS format is working better for copying and pasting (as Jonathan already raised before).

The only issue was the inadvertent "highlighting" of buttons behind the interface which we discussed already during holistic testing.
