What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. An automatic connection, the Edge wireless connection without works
not.
2. Lost In Edge connection siphon does not work anymore!

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
nothing happens! A connection can only occur when you manually advance 
through the produced safari browser or other apps.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Siphon-2.2.0-rc4.deb. iPhone 3G 8gb FW 3.1.2

Please provide any additional information below.

Maybe your mobile provider forbids VoIP on his network.
Because on my device it works fine.

And for your information Siphon up the data connection by call to
http://www.google.com/ like Safari.

No, has nothing to do with provider! Connection Fritbox (Fritz-registrar) via 
dyndns.
If the iPhone does not Data IP - is not connected our little girl.
Siax or softphone (Appstore) can be built up independently the connection!
You lose the EDGE connection is an independent reconstruction of siphon is not 
possible!
