Sony Xperia S: No chance to change "Auto Silence Time" #212

Latest version for Android 4

Sony Xperia S Android 4

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to stock alarm advanced settings
2. Check "Auto Silence Time" section - default is 5 minutes and it's possible
to change to 10-30 minutes
3. Go to application alarm settings -> No such setting

It will be very nice to change this setting, cause phone's default one silences
the alarm after 5 minutes or ringing. If I don't get up in 5 minutes, alarm is
lost which is totally not good :(

Please provide any additional information below.

This auto-silence makes the app completely useless. When I use an alarm clock,
I want to be 300% sure that the alarm wakes me up and does not „give up“
after some minutes! :(

I got a Z2 in July 14 and I wasn't certain what "auto silent time" was as I had
had a mini-pro for 5 yearsish, this is the 1st result in google although it's
near to 2 years old it did confirm my guess of "auto stop alarm sounding". It
prompted me to test it and I can report:-
Model # = D6503
Android Version = 4.4.2
The "auto silent time" restarts at the end of "snooze time" whatever the
variations of either are.
I can see a use for short intervals, I broke an arm and a couple of ribs and it
took more than 5 minutes to get to the alarm I had back then, so a repeat
function would have helped, but I don't see the point of setting an alarm to
fulfil a function 1 or 2 hours later.
