MinimOSD - No overlay following EEPROM Flash

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. No overlay at all
2. video is ok from GoPro
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I am only getting video from OSD. No overlay whatsoever.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
minimOSD v1.1

Please provide any additional information below.

I initially had overlay (but no data) but while waiting on 3DR to fix the 
telem2 firmware on pixhawk, I connected the OSD to config tool v2.0 and it 
flashed the eeprom. After that I cannot get any overlay from the OSD. I have 
tried the minimOSD extra and v2.4 but still no overlay. I have also updated the 
charset for each version of config tool.
