UPDATE : i reopen this issue because the extension sometimes downloads the same file twice at the same time by adding a number and i was thinking reset settings fix the bugs but this is no longer the case : Urgent a very very serious bug nothing works download fails, redownloading of fragments already downloaded again and again = infernal loop vicious circle, and 2 videos downloaded at the same time with the same name !!!!

Hello, I noticed the download is very very slow in Cat-Catch while I try with another extension and the download is fast, so I observe the behavior of the download carried out by Cat-Catch and there are strange things and serious malfunctions giving rise to an infernal loop that does not end!

the video I'm trying to download is the second media player (MOON PLAYER):

I thought there were no more problems with this platform which made an update and the audio video streams were unified in an index file V1 A1, but the new change of this platform seems to confuse Cat-Catch which behaves strangely, I set the number of threads is = 1, I select the index file v1 a1 and Cat-Catch downloads 40 fragments and then suddenly the number of fragments suddenly becomes 20 fragments and this nightmarish loop keeps repeating itself!

so I set the number of threads = 3 hoping that will solve this serious bug but the bug persists, so I select the master.m3u8 stream and I choose the worst video quality 189kb and there Cat-Catch downloads 2 same videos with the same name at the same time !! I specify I disabled a case ffmpeg transcod and I enabled stream download of the m3u8 parser, here we do not need ffmpeg online to merge because it is a unified stream index V1 A1,

I said Cat-catch of Mr @xifangczy and rightly so is the best extension in the history of humanity !

but recently, sadly after the inability to detect and download embed jwplayer videos , now Cat-Catch is unable to download hls videos which has become the standard for streaming sites and we hope please for a quick fix especially because 2 competing extensions (or friends and comrades) : "Live stream downloader" and "Stream Recorder" from microsoft edge store can download jwplayer videos and also can donwload from this embed streaming platform in voiranime website second media player (LECTEUR MOON) out of the box without external third party tool or online service !

Cat-Catch finally downloaded a video after I canceled the download of the second video with the same name but I playback the video and it is full of bugs: the same sequences repeat themselves again and again and some sequences are cut or amputated!!!

I downloaded the video with the extension " Stream Recorder " from edge store and there are no these bugs and the playback of the video is normal...

so it is a serious bug , the playback of downloaded video by Cat Catch has bugs

Urgent Update: I reopen this issue because Cat-Catch sometimes downloads again the same file twice at the same time by adding a number to the extension ...... i speak about files index v1a1 and also master.m3u8 .

I disabled the web browser option: "warn and choose download folder before downloading" and when the download is finished, I discover with sadness that our beloved Cat-Catch has downloaded the same file 2 times which can be catastrophic because my favorite streaming site no longer posts standard SD videos but videos with large size and download the same file 2 times uses up our data plan, it uses up our old hard drive or cheap entry-level SSD, it uses up our battery and our wallet .....

I hope that Mr @xifangczy will find a solution to this serious problem, perhaps by adding an internal verification mechanism or warning pop-up for the users if Cat-Catch is downloading the same file 2 times in the same time, thank you very much :)

I specify that I have activated / deactivated several options settings to check what causes this bug, but activating / deactivating features / options had no effect effect on this bug that reappears again and again....
