droidwall doesn't apply rules on xperia x10 with 2.1 rooted

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Install droidwall
2.select apps to block
3.apply rules

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
success on applying the rules. Error message

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

1.4.2 on eclair 2.1-update1 customized by SE
Please provide any additional information below.

Error message showed:

Error applying iptables rules. Exit code: 2 iptables v1.4.7 [1] Segmentation 
afult /data/data/com.g... iptables v1.4.7:can't initialize iptables table 
`filter´:Table does not exist (do you need to insmod) Perhaps iptables or your 
kernel needs to be upgraded

This error message unfortunately means that your kernel does not support 
iptables/netfilter, so DroidWall will not work on this kernel.

There is nothing I can do on DroidWall to make it work.

The only possible solution is to flash a customized ROM with netfilter support.
